BT SPORTS : DISABILITY FOOTBALL CAMPAIGN

Our brief is to help raise awareness to disability football. And BT as the sponsor, how would they use technologies to introduce the sports to others. Also how can we make different gender, age and abilities across the uk to be aware of disability football.

Disability football is almost invisible, our insight is that football fans love to be in the perspective of a player. So we would apply gamification to attract a wider audience to understand disability football.

Our campaign idea is combined in three different sections.

The first step in launching disability football players playing cards to let the audience know more about the players. This will be distributed through free newspapers and mailed to BT customers.

Then, audiences using the playing cards can unlock and experience the skills that these players have through our penalty shoot out game.  And there will be a VR version of the game later outside the stadium to introduce disability football to mainstream friends.

This is a second year project brief, where we create campaigns in groups. Our team is Angela, Shimaa and I. This is a campaign pitched to Cake (Client) for ideas.
